<p>Doukouré wuchs in <a href="Abidjan" title="Abidjan">Abidjan</a> auf und erwarb ein Informatikdiplom.<sup id="cite_ref-lm_4-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-lm-4"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>4<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> In Folge des <a href="Elfenbeink%C3%BCste#Militärregierung" title="Elfenbeinküste">Militärputsches</a> ging er 2001 nach Paris.<sup id="cite_ref-:0_9-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-:0-9"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>9<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> Dort entwickelte sich um Saga eine Gruppe Gleichgesinnter, die „Jet Set“ genannt wurden.<sup id="cite_ref-CNN_2-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-CNN-2"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>2<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> 2003 veröffentlichte er seine erste Single „Affaire de sagacité“ und kehrte nach Abidjan zurück. 2005 folgte das Album „Héros national Bouche bée“. Er starb am 12. <p><a href="Le_Monde" title="Le Monde">Le Monde</a> zählt ihn auch 20 Jahre nach seinem Tod zusammen mit <a href="DJ_Arafat" title="DJ Arafat">DJ Arafat</a> zu den Superstars des Coupé-Décalé und bezeichnet seinen bereits 2024 erschienenen Song „Héros national bouche bée“ als ikonisches Lied.<sup id="cite_ref-:1_10-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-:1-10"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>10<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> Laut <a href="Jeune_Afrique" title="Jeune Afrique">Jeune Afrique</a> löste seine erste Single <i>Affaire de sagacité</i> eine Welle der Begeisterung auf dem gesamten afrikanischen Kontinent aus.
